As business owners, the number of hours in the day we have to make success happen are precious few. It is so easy to become caught up in the day to day activities necessary for the survival of our business.


How valuable is your time?

Can you afford to be your own secretary, finance department and advertising team?

Can you afford to continue pulling all nighters to get the job done?


The way we entrepreneurs make money is by making more sales and cultivating the clients we already have with great delivery and customer service. The more time we spend on the business activities that do not directly yield income the less money we will make. Put very simply, when you are performing every task necessary to keep your business running, you are working in your business...

This is really a timely topic, Carla! I was just reading another article about increasing productivity for successful business people, and this very point was also made. The suggested dedicating one day per week to work ON your business instead of FOR your business. Although I will keep the day moveable if necessary, I have already planned in a day per week to do just that this year - and marked it in my calendar.
